Physical Therapy is not something you "get" or "receive"
Have you ever heard someone say, or maybe you have even said it yourself, "Oh I tried physical therapy and it either worked or did not work!" Could you imagine saying, I tried Orthopedic Surgery and it did or did not work? No you would tell others that a particular Orthopedic Surgeon was either very good at what they do or not so good at what they do. You would critique the professional not the profession.
Physical Therapy is not something you "get" or "receive," it is a specialized branch of healthcare. A licensed Physical Therapist provides a number of different conservative treatment options and the more knowlegeable your Physical Therapist the better your treatment will likely be.
If you were not satisified with the results of your treatments from a Physical Therapist in the past, perhaps it is time to look for a different Physical Therapist? It may be that you were misdiagnosed and treated for a condition of which you did not have. Giving up on the Physical Therapy profession as a whole makes about as much sense as giving on all Physicians because you did not believe one did a particularly good job.

We may need to see you before we can decide if we can help you, but many times we can make a determination over the phone by just asking a few detailed questions about your condition. You have nothing to lose and so much movement to gain. We take all of the worry out of your decision making process.
