Wayne "Rusty" Russell, PT, DPT
Gaston Rehab Associates is proud to welcome Rusty Russell, PT, DPT Doctor of Physical Therapy to our practice. Dr. Rusty is a 2010 Graduate of Washington University in St. Louis where he obtained his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Prior to that Dr. Rusty received a Bachelor's in Science Degree in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University in 2005.
Dr. Rusty has many clinical experiences from across the entire United States and in various settings. Dr. Rusty has an expertise in outpatient orthopedics and is currently accepting new patients.

Gaston Rehab Associates, Inc. "Sports Physical Therapy and A Whole Lot More" (TM) was founded in 2004 by two physical therapists in our Gastonia office. We have partnered with some of the top experts in the region to bring you the best in physical therapy, sports specific training and conditioning, and health and wellness services. We work with many physicians, sports teams, and businesses in the area providing services to thousands of people just like you.

We are a physical therapist owned private practice. All of the physical therapists on our staff are trained at a Doctorate of Physical Therapy level of education, which is the highest degree you can earn and demonstrates their committment to the practice of physical medicine. Our strength and conditioning specialists (CSCS) all hold at least a Bachelors degree in exercise science or a related field and have many years of post-professional experience in working with athletes of all ages and experience levels.
Each physical therapy visit you are treated in a one-on-one session, by a Doctor of Physical Therapy with expertise in orthopaedics and sports medicine.
Each sports performance/fitness session you will work with a highly trained fitness professional with the background you need to see the results you want.
